I found an answer to the sharing the germ problem.  Instead of using your hand as a scoop in a bowl of nuts, shake them out into your hand!  Or maybe serve the children’s goldfish or jelly beans this way.  Handmade by our local Toby Fried in Washington KY, it is 5” tall and is a beautiful  piece of art.  They could also hold a small arrangement of flowers.
